Ozark came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Dardanelle Sand Lizards. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 back in March.

Ozark's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Dardanelle, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ozark will face off against Pottsville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dardanelle, they will take on Bigelow at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Sand Lizards' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
