Wallkill dropped their record down to 15-3 on Thursday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They lost 8-0 to the Goshen Central Gladiators. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Goshen Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

For Goshen Central's part, the result came thanks to Addison Freiberger's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks. Freiberger has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Anna Mayo, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilah Snyder, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

As of now, neither Wallkill nor Goshen Central have any future games scheduled.
