Volleyball Recap: Joliet Catholic Comes Up Short

Joliet Catholic lost against Benet Academy back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers fell 2-0 to the Redwings.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17.

Joliet Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-19 record this season. As for Benet Academy, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-6.

Joliet Catholic and Benet Academy are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Hilltoppers will square off against Lockport at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Benet Academy, they will host Glenbard East at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Redwings surely won't give up without a fight.
