Basketball Recap: Shorewood Takes a Loss

After flying high against Meadowdale last Tuesday, Shorewood came back down to earth. The Shorewood Stormrays took a 61-44 bruising from the Shorecrest Scots on Saturday. The Stormrays haven't had much luck with the Scots recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Shorewood's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Shorecrest, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

When Shorewood and Shorecrest next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Shorewood will try to stop Mountlake Terrace's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Shorecrest will face off against Edmonds-Woodway and their 16-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
