Battery Creek moved up to 119 from 145 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AA Region VI. The Dolphins climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Garrett Academy Tech 42-6.
Woodland extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating North Charleston, 52-12. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Wolverines.
Ridgeland/Hardeeville's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Derrell Myers threw for 151 and 3 touchdowns and Gavin Bush had 97 yards receiving. On the ground Shawn Wilson chipped in 213 yards. Wilson helped Ridgeland/Hardeeville's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 41 yards.
