Basketball Recap: Freeport Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Andrew Seward and Kazion Morehead

Freeport played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Hononegah Indians, falling 86-60. The Pretzels have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Freeport's loss came despite strong showings from Kazion Morehead and Andrew Seward. Morehead almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds, while Seward posted 17 points and seven boards. Seward is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Baker, who put up nine points.

Freeport's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Hononegah, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
