Luther Prep has gone 8-1 against Kenosha Christian Life recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Phoenix will welcome the Eagles at 6:45 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Luther Prep barely beat Lake Country Lutheran the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Phoenix put the hurt on the Lightning with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

Luther Prep didn't let Lake Country Lutheran take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Kenosha Christian Life earned a 2-0 win over St. Anthony on Sunday.

Luther Prep better focus on containing Bella Brown and Linnea Lind as the pair were huge in Kenosha Christian Life's win. Brown hit 87.5% for seven kills and eight aces and four digs, while Lind had 20 digs. Those 20 digs gave Lind a new career-high.

Kenosha Christian Life was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive matches.

Luther Prep pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Kenosha Christian Life, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Luther Prep was able to grind out a solid win over Kenosha Christian Life when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Phoenix repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
