Softball Recap: Sycamore Takes a Loss

Sycamore fell victim to Creek Wood and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to the Red Hawks. The War Eagles have struggled against the Red Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Sycamore's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Creek Wood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sycamore will venture away from home to take on Cheatham County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cubs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the War Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Creek Wood, they are taking a road trip to face off against East Hickman County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
