Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Minutemen are ranked 264th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Sage Hill had just enough and edged out San Gabriel Academy 45-43 on Friday.

Knight's victory was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points over those games. As for Sage Hill, their win bumped their record up to 19-9.
