Softball Recap: Pasquotank County Takes a Loss

Pasquotank County lost against Holmes two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers came up short against the Aces, falling 15-5. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Pasquotank County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Holmes, they moved to 8-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Pasquotank County will challenge Currituck County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. As for Holmes, they will take on Camden County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
