Basketball Recap: Pendleton Drops Season-High Score on Liberty

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pendleton). They put the hurt on the Liberty Red Devils with a sharp 56-36 victory on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bulldogs have posted since January 30, 2024.

Liberty's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Madison Henderson, who posted seven points and 16 rebounds, and Reagan Swafford, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Swafford is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Pendleton's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-13. As for Liberty, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pendleton will face off against Walhalla at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Liberty, they will challenge High Point Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
