Liberty's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Madison Henderson, who posted seven points and 16 rebounds, and Reagan Swafford, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Swafford is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.
Pendleton's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-13. As for Liberty, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pendleton will face off against Walhalla at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Liberty, they will challenge High Point Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
