Preview: Old Suwanee Christian Conquerors vs. Sugar Hill Christian Academy Stallions
The Old Suwanee Christian Conquerors's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Sugar Hill Christian Academy Stallions at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard on Friday.
Old Suwanee Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They walked away with an 80-68 victory over St. John Bosco Academy.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Old Suwanee Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amari Chatman, who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jon Rojas, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Sugar Hill Christian Academy stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard last Thursday. They blew past Varsity Opponent 61-28 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Sugar Hill Christian Academy who now have four in a row.
Old Suwanee Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Sugar Hill Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Old Suwanee Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Sugar Hill Christian Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 65-54.
