Softball Game Preview: Woodstown Wolverines vs. Salem Rams

Woodstown is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Salem an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Woodstown Wolverines will host the Salem Rams at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Woodstown is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Clearview on Thursday. They came up short against the Pioneers, falling 18-1.

Meanwhile, Salem lost 18-1 to Pennsville Memorial on Wednesday.

Woodstown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything went Woodstown's way against Salem in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, as Woodstown made off with a 12-2 win. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
