Volleyball Recap: Cicero-North Syracuse Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

While Cicero-North Syracuse didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Nottingham Bulldogs on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Northstars as they're now sitting on four straight.

Cicero-North Syracuse walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 20-25, 25-20, 25-12.

Leading Cicero-North Syracuse to victory were Kevin Greer and Jack Copeland. Greer had 15 digs, 11 kills, and three blocks, while Copeland had ten kills, eight digs, two aces, and one block. Greer has been hot, having posted six or more kills the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Huynh, who had 18 assists and seven digs.

Cicero-North Syracuse's victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Coming up, Cicero-North Syracuse will square off against Canisius at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Nottingham will be paying especially close attention to the Northstars' contest: after the Northstars face off against Living Word Academy, they'll take on Nottingham again at 5:00 p.m. on November 4.
