Volleyball Recap: Roy Comes Up Short

Roy lost against Bountiful back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Royals came up short against the RedHawks, falling 3-0. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Roy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-17.

Roy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Bountiful, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Roy has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Bonneville on the 22nd. As for Bountiful, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Northridge on the 22nd.
