Volleyball Recap: DSST: Cedar Wins Going Away Against Rocky Mountain Prep SMART

The DSST: Cedar Falcons got the win against the Rocky Mountain Prep SMART Ocelotls on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-13, 25-20.

Matthew Stophel paced DSST: Cedar's offense, picking up eight kills. Stophel got some help from Caleb VanderHamm and his 14 assists. VanderHamm also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Constantinos Athanasiou, racking up five apiece.

DSST: Cedar's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Rocky Mountain Prep SMART, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

DSST: Cedar didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Kennedy on the 26th. As for Rocky Mountain Prep SMART, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Denver West on the 29th.
