Volleyball Recap: Jefferson J-Hawks vs. Harlem Huskies

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harlem Huskies. The J-Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Jefferson was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Harlem, they moved to 4-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will be playing at home against Belvidere North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harlem, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Plainfield North on the 20th.
