After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Talladega, Munford was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 47-16 victory over the Fayetteville Wolves. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Munford's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Fayetteville, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Munford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 31-29 loss against Cleburne County on the 17th. As for Fayetteville, they and Winterboro will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Winterboro will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Fayetteville surely won't give up without a fight.
