Concord Academy had won seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 6-0 to make it eight. They came out on top against the Grace Christian Crusaders by a score of 58-49. Those 58 points were actually the fewest the Eagles have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Concord Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jonas Agyeman, who posted eight points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. Cruz Miller was another key player, putting up 12 points and five boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Concord Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They racked up six more assists than Grace Christian's also-impressive total of ten.

As for Grace Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. They haven't had much luck with Concord Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, Grace Christian still got an impressive performance from Kaedyn Cole, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 12 rebounds. The game was Cole's fourth in a row with at least 15 points. Caleb Ellis also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Concord Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-59 victory against Providence Day on the 22nd. As for Grace Christian, they will take on Rolesville in a tournament on Friday.
