Basketball Recap: John Bapst Memorial Takes a Loss

John Bapst Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-47 heartbreaker at the hands of Greater Houlton Christian Academy. The Crusaders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Greater Houlton Christian Academy earlier this season, when they won 53-40.

John Bapst Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Greater Houlton Christian Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

John Bapst Memorial will be playing at home against Bucksport at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. John Bapst Memorial is facing Bucksport at the right time seeing as Bucksport is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Greater Houlton Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
