Baseball Recap: Arrupe Jesuit Comes Up Short

Arrupe Jesuit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the SkyView Academy Hawks, falling 14-0. If the Generals were looking for revenge after losing 14-2 to the Hawks when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Arrupe Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for SkyView Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Arrupe Jesuit will take on Fort Lupton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Generals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bluedevils have averaged an impressive 9.3 runs per game this season. As for SkyView Academy, they will challenge Dayspring Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
