Volleyball Recap: Kingsway Christian Victorious

Kingsway Christian lost to Marion H back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hawks.

Kingsway Christian didn't let Marion H take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-22.

Maddie McCartney paced Kingsway Christian's offense, picking up five kills. McCartney got some help from Alison Brown and her seven assists. McCartney was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Kingsway Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Marion H, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Kingsway Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Coshocton Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marion H does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
