Recap: The Covenant Preparatory School Knights vs. Lifestyle Christian Victors
The Covenant Preparatory School Knights can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They breezed by Lifestyle Christian on the road to the tune of 65-29. That's another feather in the cap for The Covenant Preparatory School, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
The Covenant Preparatory School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jax Leatherman, who scored 16 points along with six blocks and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jay Williams, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Several Victors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aric Musterman, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. Kenneth Dobson was another key contributor, scoring five points along with two steals.
The Covenant Preparatory School's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-6. As for Lifestyle Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-15.
The Covenant Preparatory School will head out on the road to challenge Founders Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Averaging 70.79 points so far this season, The Covenant Preparatory School's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Founders Christian better be ready for a challenge. As for Lifestyle Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Calvary Baptist at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Calvary Baptist focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
