Baseball Recap: Sheffield Comes Up Short

The Sheffield Knights came up short against the Whitehaven Tigers on Tuesday, falling 10-2. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sheffield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for Whitehaven, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-4-1.

Looking ahead, Sheffield will square off against Memphis Business Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Execs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.71 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Whitehaven, they will challenge Germantown at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
