Otay Ranch came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the University City Centurions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

Paola Ortiz paced Otay Ranch's offense, picking up six kills. Ortiz got some help from Sienna Carter and her nine assists. Keira Kray controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Otay Ranch's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for University City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.

Otay Ranch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Granite Hills on the 20th. As for University City, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Sage Creek on the 20th.
