Solanco has gone 7-1 against Elizabethtown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Golden Mules will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bears at 4:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Solanco's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Tuesday's struggle, when Conestoga Valley hitters got past them. The Golden Mules were the clear victors by a 23-10 margin over the Buckskins on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Golden Mules as they're now sitting on 12 straight.
Kira Roark made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Roark was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.

In other batting news, Solanco got a massive performance out of Delaney Gote, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Those four runs gave Gote a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ava Fedoruk, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
Solanco was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .345 or higher in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Elizabethtown got themselves on the board against Lebanon on Monday, but Lebanon never followed suit. They blew past the Cedars 25-0. That looming 25-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bears yet this season.
Solanco pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Elizabethtown, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
Solanco was able to grind out a solid victory over Elizabethtown in their previous meeting back in May of 2022, winning 5-1. Will the Golden Mules repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
