The Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They breezed by Norfolk Christian on the road to the tune of 73-30. The win was nothing new for Norfolk Collegiate as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Norfolk Collegiate got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brennan Chatman out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Justin Burrough, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and five blocks.

When it comes to explaining why Norfolk Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Vann Baggett. Despite the final result, he scored five points along with four blocks. It was the first time this season that Baggett posted two or more blocks.

Norfolk Christian struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Norfolk Collegiate pushed their record up to 20-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.8 points per game. As for Norfolk Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Norfolk Collegiate won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Chiefs at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Kempsville will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. As for Norfolk Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge the Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
