Softball Game Preview: Colonial Grenadiers vs. Innovation Bulls

The Colonial Grenadiers will take on the Innovation Bulls at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Colonial has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Colonial came up short against Boone on Monday, falling 16-2. The Grenadiers have struggled against the Braves recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Colonial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arielys Torres, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Innovation came up short against East River on Monday and fell 8-4.

Colonial's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Innovation, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Colonial might still be hurting after the 11-1 loss they got from Innovation when the teams last played back in March. Can the Grenadiers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
