Recap: Burbank Bulldogs vs. Lanier Voks
The Burbank Bulldogs stacked a 15th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 72-26 win over Lanier on the road. The victory was nothing new for Burbank as they're now sitting on four straight.
Burbank's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zara'nique Nealy, who dropped a triple-double on 15 points, ten rebounds, and 11 assists. Nealy has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Makayla Carter was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds.
Burbank is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 19 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season. As for Lanier, their loss dropped their record down to 6-23.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Alamo Heights the next time they take the court. Lanier will head out to face Alamo Heights at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Burbank will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
