Tift County posted their closest victory since January 24th on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Richmond Hill Wildcats, sneaking past 51-49. This was a revenge game for the Blue Devils: when they faced off against the Wildcats two weeks ago, they had to take a 79-64 defeat.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alonzo Miller, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. Miller is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games he's played. Drew Nudo was another key player, going 5-for-12 en route to 13 points.

Tift County's win bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Richmond Hill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season.

Tift County has already played their next contest, a 61-54 loss against Central Gwinnett on the 25th. As for Richmond Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-42 defeat against Buford on the 25th.
