Orting are taking a road trip to face off against Franklin Pierce at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Orting barely beat Fife the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cardinals claimed a resounding 42-13 victory over the Trojans. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Shiron Seniours and Israel Shrode. Seniours gained 131 total yards and three touchdowns while Shrode rushed for 136 yards and one TD on only five carries. Those 136 rushing yards gave Shrode a new career-high. Carson McCall was in the mix too, providing Orting with two scores.

Meanwhile, Franklin Pierce humbled Foss with a 68-22 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Cardinals' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Falcons are ranked 258th).

Orting better keep an eye on Bryson Allen. He was instrumental in Franklin Pierce's win, rushing for 106 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries.
