Sage Ridge piles up the points against enCompass Academy

The Sage Ridge Scorpions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past EnCompass Academy, posting a 53-5 win at home. That looming 53-5 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Sage Ridge yet this season.
Sage Ridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sophia Soran, who dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 14 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Soran has scored at least a third of Sage Ridge's points. Another player making a difference was Beatrice Liwanag, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
The win got Sage Ridge back to even at 2-2. As for enCompass Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Sage Ridge the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Mineral County at 4:00 p.m. on January 20th. Mineral County is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. EnCompass Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
