Football Recap: Weedsport Skates Past Pulaski with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Weedsport). They took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 62-15 victory over the Pulaski Blue Devils. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.

Ryan Pello and Dylan Scharoun certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Pello rushed for 102 yards and one touchdown, while Scharoun picked up 76 receiving yards and one TD. Pello has become a key player for Pulaski: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 2-4 otherwise.

The win made it two in a row for Weedsport and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 15 points in those games. As for Pulaski, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

As of now, neither Weedsport nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
