Volleyball Recap: Union Grove Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

Union Grove posted their closest victory since August 7th on Saturday. They skirted past the Forsyth Central Bulldogs 2-1.

Riley Bethea paced Union Grove's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bethea got some help from Sadie Peterson and her 30 assists. Peterson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Union Grove is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-1 record this season. As for Forsyth Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Union Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against South Effingham on the 23rd. As for Forsyth Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Westminster on the 23rd.
