Tri-Township is 9-1 against Culver Community since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Cavaliers at 4:30 p.m.

Tri-Township blew Victory Christian Academy out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Victory Christian Academy got their revenge. The Tigers fell just short of the Lions by a score of 6-4.

Kirstyn Dailey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Braelynn Pavy, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Culver Community, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past Caston 12-2 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won four contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Aiden Molebash spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Abigayle Zehner was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Kalli England also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Tri-Township's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Culver Community, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Tri-Township was able to grind out a solid win over Culver Community when the teams last played back in April of 2022, winning 6-3. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Cavaliers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
