Baseball Recap: Gilbert Classical Academy Spartans vs. Superior Panthers
Gilbert Classical Academy had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 4-13 to make it seven. They came up short against the Superior Panthers, falling 14-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 last Friday.
Gilbert Classical Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thorsten Anderson, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
As for Superior, their record is now 6-12-1. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
