Soccer Recap: Lafayette Central Catholic Takes a Loss

Lafayette Central Catholic lost against McCutcheon back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights came up short against the Mavericks, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Lafayette Central Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 226th, while McCutcheon are ranked 53rd).

Lafayette Central Catholic is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8. As for McCutcheon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3-1.

Lafayette Central Catholic didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 defeat against Tipton on the 17th. As for McCutcheon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lafayette Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
