While Bainbridge's win against Port Angeles wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Roughriders 14-13.

Charles Cox threw for 47 yards on five of 14 attempts. On the ground, Luke Thedford rushed for 69 yards on only seven carries.

Bainbridge's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Port Angeles, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Bainbridge will face off against North Kitsap at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Port Angeles, they will challenge Squalicum at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
