Baseball Recap: Harris-Lake Park Takes a Loss

Harris-Lake Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gehlen Catholic Jays. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 7-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

Harris-Lake Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Gehlen Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Coming up, Harris-Lake Park will face off against Akron-Westfield at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Gehlen Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 9-1 loss against West Lyon on the 14th.
