Basketball Game Preview: Troy Trojans vs. West Trojans

Troy is 1-9 against West since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Troy Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the West Trojans at 6:30 p.m. The two teams were dealt some close losses in their previous games and are determined not to let this one get away.

Last Friday, Troy didn't have quite enough to beat McGregor and fell 35-33.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, West's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Clifton by a score of 35-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Trojans have suffered since December 27, 2024.

Troy's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for West, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-14.
