Volleyball Game Preview: Conneaut Area Eagles vs. Erie First Christian Academy

The Conneaut Area Eagles will face off against Erie First Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Conneaut Area's tournament run continued when they took on Warren on Saturday. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Dragons.

Meanwhile, Erie First Christian Academy waltzed into their match on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Tidioute Charter. Erie First Christian Academy not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Erie First Christian Academy was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-9, 25-5.

Conneaut Area's win bumped their record up to 14-7-3. As for Erie First Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 16-3-2.

Conneaut Area was able to grind out a solid win over Erie First Christian Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2019, winning 2-0. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will Erie First Christian Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
