 Spring Hill fell victim to Columbia Central and their airtight pitching crew  on Saturday. They suffered a  tough 9-0 defeat at the hands of the Columbia Central Lions. Spring Hill was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Columbia Central apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in March of 2015.
 For Columbia Central's part, they got a big performance out of  Gabby Bolton, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-4. Bolton is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last five games she's  played.  Saviya Morgan was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.
 Spring Hill are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-6. As for Columbia Central, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-5-1 record  this season.
 Spring Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbia Central at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Columbia Central will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for they, they will head out on the road to  take on  Shelbyville Central at 3:00  p.m.  on Sunday. Shelbyville Central is coming into the  matchup with three straight  defeats at home,  meaning Columbia Central will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win.
