Softball Recap: Highland Baptist Christian Takes a Loss

Highland Baptist Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westminster Christian Academy Chargers.

Faith Cormier made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Chloe Delahoussaye, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Highland Baptist Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Westminster Christian Academy, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highland Baptist Christian will square off against Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they will face off against Gueydan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
