Baseball Recap: Blue Mountain Comes Up Short

After flying high against Tri-Valley last Tuesday, Blue Mountain came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Tamaqua Blue Raiders by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The match marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Blue Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Tamaqua, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Blue Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-4 win against Pottsville on the 7th. As for Tamaqua, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Lehighton on the 4th.
