Baseball Recap: Eastern Guilford Comes Up Short

Eastern Guilford was the 14-5 winner over Northeast Guilford when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats came up short against the Rams on Friday, falling 21-7. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Andrew Wallace made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI and one run. Those RBI were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Gavin Pinnix, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Eastern Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Northeast Guilford, their win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-20.

As of now, neither Eastern Guilford nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
