Recap: Beloit Trojans vs. Republic County Buffaloes

The Beloit Trojans put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 85-17 victory over Republic County at home. Beloit's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Beloit's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bryce Beisner led the charge by scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds. The contest was Beisner's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Emile Lechien, who scored 13 points along with three steals.

Beloit pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points per game. As for Republic County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Beloit will head out on the road to face off against Ellsworth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ellsworth's defense has only allowed 28.8 points per game this season, so Beloit's offense will have their work cut out for Beloit. Republic County will be home for the holidays to greet Minneapolis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Minneapolis is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
