Flag Football Game Preview: Highlands Ranch Falcons vs. Ponderosa Mustangs

The Highlands Ranch Falcons will head out on the road to challenge the Ponderosa Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Highlands Ranch's offense hasn't had much luck over their past 11 matchups, but Tuesday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Highlands Ranch took on Mountain Vista on Monday. The Falcons were outmatched by the Golden Eagles and fell 82-6. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado flag football rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while the Golden Eagles are ranked first).

Meanwhile, Ponderosa beat Elizabeth 14-6 on Monday.

Highlands Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Ponderosa, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8.

Highlands Ranch beat Ponderosa 18-6 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
