Lake Stevens has gone a perfect 9-0 against Glacier Peak recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Lake Stevens 12.2, Glacier Peak 5.8) so any points scored will be well earned.

Lake Stevens is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Mariner: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Vikings blew the Marauders out of the water with a 56-0 final score. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Vikings had established a 49-point advantage.

Blake Moser had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 135 yards and five TDs on only 12 passes. Jayvian Ferrell was another key player, rushing for 95 yards and one score on only eight carries.

Lake Stevens was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 207 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 207 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Another reason for the win was Lake Stevens' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Keegan Brown and Ty Tautolo, who racked up five sacks between them.

Meanwhile, Glacier Peak strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against Post Falls by a score of 30-18.

Lake Stevens' record now sits at 4-0. As for Glacier Peak, their record is now an identical 4-0.

Everything went Lake Stevens' way against Glacier Peak in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Lake Stevens made off with a 31-10 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
