Basketball Recap: Holly Springs Takes a Loss

Holly Springs was the 60-59 winner over Green Level when they last played one another on February 4th, but their luck changed this time around. The Holly Springs Golden Hawks fell 64-57 to the Green Level Gators on Saturday.

Green Level's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trevor Manhertz, who went 9-for-16 on his way to 28 points and five rebounds. That's the most points Manhertz has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Ericksen, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards.

Holly Springs' loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Green Level, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-4.

As of now, neither Holly Springs nor Green Level have any future games scheduled.
