Basketball Recap: O'brien RVT Drops Season-High Score on Wright Tech

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask O'Brien RVT). They put the hurt on the Wright Tech Warriors with a sharp 74-48 win on Saturday. The Condors haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Leading O'Brien RVT to victory were Robert Stocker and Landon Weller. Stocker posted 16 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, while Weller put up 22 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. The dominant performance gave Stocker a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Garrett Johnson, who earned 13 points.

O'Brien RVT's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points over those games. As for Wright Tech, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. O'Brien RVT will take on Bullard-Havens at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wright Tech, they will head out on the road to challenge Wilcox RVT at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
